Black History Month- A Time to Reflect and Celebrate

No, my first post won't be about the Red Tails movie, though it's certainly coming up!

As part of celebrating Black History Month, here's an old photo I found of former Major "Jingles" Dean in his early days with the 123rd FS/142nd FW. When I met him, (then) Col. Dean was one of the kindest, most professional military officers I'd ever met. I appreciated the opportunity he gave me with the art I'd made of the squadron's F-15s, and have enjoyed even more watching him do a Viking climb through the USAF's ranks. Happy Black History month General Dean!
